Writing a different form

Writing is something you just have to keep pushing yourself to write. If you stop writing for a week, pick up yourself and get back into it. Doesn't matter how long it's been, you can return to it at any time.

That said, I'm writing a  private blog to write down my private thoughts. Even if it got discovered, it won't be linked back to me. I have a lot happening right now in my life, and to blog those thoughts is the best way to keep track of what I'm thinking about.

I do my best thinking when I write my thoughts down, in fact, I sometimes think my fingers have a brain, and it is disconnected from my mind-thoughts. I've established that habit in my teens when I used to write a lot on LiveJournal.

So, even if it's quiet around here, rest assured, I'm happily writing away in another blog that may or may not see another pair of eyes in five-ten years from now. It is so personal.

So, do what you need to do to keep writing! Even if its content will never see another pair of eyes.

On writing

There are things in life that take over and steal you away from writing. The most important thing that we have to keep in mind is that we must persist as writers. When we realize we've not written, we must force ourselves to get back on the computer and write some more.

I am not doing so well mentally, and that is why I'm forcing myself to write, because eventually it will pass.

Mental issues are never fun, and, while I should follow my own advice, it needs to be taken cared of.

With that said, I've been spending the past few days on IRC chat in #writingprompts and writing. It's good to be among writers than to be totally alone.

That said, I've been posting a few pieces to Chaptefy. One in particular was done when I had a few glasses too many of wine. It's... entertaining. Meanwhile, I'm still working on writing the millions of millions of years into the future where a human is resurrected from the dead and joins alien company. I am over 8,300 words into the story, and I hope to have it before 17,500 words and enter the 2 million Contest being hosted by WritingPrompts over at Reddit.
